Also, something I just realised, has anybody seen A Touch of Cloth?
It's pure comedy, a spoof on UK detective-shows and the genre in general. Every other sentence contains a pun there are three 'seasons' of two episodes which makes it a trilogy. It's written by Charlie Brooker who gave us Black Mirror

Four lions is a classic , saw that like 2 or 3 times. Hot Fuzz was good and i think i will watch Trainspotting again.

As for TV shows the ones that come to mind are

The thick of it (UK)- directed by the guy who does Veep and directed In the Loop with much of the same characters
Borgen- Danish political drama- seen some episodes its quite good
Yizo Yizo- early 2000s South African drama, had a great first 2 seasons and fell of towards the end. Most of season 1 is on youtube

Read good reviews about Timbuktu-trailer does not show a lot but its about ISIS taking over in Mali I think and the changes that happened including banning football etc and foreign fighters in the country

watched it last night....it was sooooooo fukking piiiiiiifffffff ....the main villain is fukking BONKERS and the swag of some of these characters ...highly recommend brehs
