It's been announced but it was expected to be PS3 only, since P4 was released only on PS2 well after the 3 dropped. Atlus learned from their last mistake, plus P4G and P4A having seen some decent success, they wanna cash out.

Yea but.... Persona 5 at least to me doesn't need fancy ass presentation like Final Fantasy games. For a PS2 title, Persona 4 Golden held my interest down to the point where I actually cared about these motherfukkers.
