Also not a $70k+ interior. Looks like something out of a 2009 Toyota.

Why do they make it so easy for Audi:why:

I need to call out b.s when I see it. This is so biased and misinformed. Take the goggles off and compare apples to apples.

Showing a lack of real world car experience with posts like that. Let's get into specifics here. Compare coupe to coupe, not an A7 or A8 to the RC. I've driven the Audi S5. I haven't driven the RC, but I've sat in the RC..it's not plastic, it's Lexus. There was actually more plastic in the Audi S5.

You can take a random pic of an Audi S5 interior, and it looks more "plasticy" than the RCF. Look at the plastic on this Audi S5. The RCF has way more carbon fibre than the S5.

Audi S5 interior..notice the "plastic" around the window controls. A/C heat area, and the big chunk of plastic next to the nav screen.

Here's a Lexus RC door. You got...carbon fibre around the controls. alcantara and leather on the panels.

The plastic you are talking about is around the cup holder area, the actually middle console is surrounding by two tone stitched leather with an alcantara arm rest.

The Lexus RCF also has a nice carbon fiber strip/trim along the glove box on the passenger side...while the Audi S5 has a whole bunch of..you guessed it, plastic.

Here's a plasticy pic of an A5 looking ever so basic, I'm not going to make outlandish statements and say it's a Volkswagen interior though, because I know it's still quite decent. Look at it though! This one has 0 carbon fiber and is pretty much all plastic. Even the door panels are plastic/lacking carbon fibre on this one, there would never be that much plastic in a Lexus RC, as you would at least get brushed alum

There is nothing but leather, alcantara and carbon fiber here...even the panelling along the middle console is leather and the arm rest is alcantara. You can knock Lexus for their engine prowess all you want and I will never disagree..but one thing that will make you look foolish is to knock their interior quality both for material, looks and functionality.

You would never think that the side panelling on the middle console is leather, UNLESS you sat in one, or unless someone posts a pic like below, which shows the two tone.

All of a sudden that Audi A5 interior isn't looking up to par.

Decatur where its greater
Idk bruh @KingOFKings

I sat in the RCF at this auto show and it just didn't feel like luxury to me :yeshrug:

Kind of how I felt when I sat in the CLA, just didn't get that feel

Not to mention do you even realize that you can get carbon fiber and leather in the center console, door, and etc. on the S5 if you spec it out? So damn near everything you bashed on it is null and void.

Try again bruh.

spec it out for yourself and see

My point wasn't to bash Audi, as I mentioned in my thread..I'm not calling it a "Volkswagon" based on the pics I posted, as that would be foolish..such as some people screaming Toyota based on pics of the RC. Of course I know you can spec out any car. My intention was to call out b.s and make it clear that 2 can play the game of generalizing a brand.hence his reply "talk about trying to hard"..when someone doesn't have a valid argument, they resort to changing the topic.

It was simply to shed light on some misconceptions about the RC being plasticy. If you want to compare the interior of brands, then compare sport coupe to sport coupe..not RC to Audi as a whole.

That's why I posted those plasticy A5 and S5 pics. Sport coupes in general aren't meant to be luxurious no matter what the brand, Audi is not immune, you can't deny those pics.
