Byron Scott on espn radio just stated Russell and Clarkson are the starting backcourt according to lakersground. Anyone confirm? Probably means for Summer League. Also said Kobe will see time at SF though.

Removing Swaggy P from the roster, the salary total would go down from around $48M to around $43M. A projected salary cap I found is around $89M.
So if the Lakers offer Aldridge a max-ish contract around $18M-$20M, there is still over $25M for Wade & all the draftees (Russell, Brown, & Nance). So Wade would need to take $18M or something like that.

But, do you really still want Wade, with Kobe, Russell, Clarkson, and Black all on the roster? Assuming Mitch adds a big man from free agency, a small forward or two would be nice

The officials said DeAndre Jordan wants to be more involved in the offense and wants to be an All-Star, and he's not sure whether those things can happen on the Clippers with All-Stars Paul and Blake Griffin.
