That wasn't specified, the idea though was sometimes good offensive players struggle against top defenses, and especially when they're just getting started
I will say though Russell is pretty much a pure jump shooter, and when you have a guy who takes more jumpers than layups, you end up with someone like a Lillard, who will either have really big nights, or really bad ones. Though Russell seems to have much more vision.
The only thing I disagree with in OP's list is Tyus Jones. It's just no way he's a starting point guard in this league IMO sorry

Draftexpress Porzingis scouting report is out.
I still haven't seen a full game of his this season. Schmiddy on point as usual with the video scouting reports.
I did see Porsizngis a couple full games like 2 years ago in the U18 Euros and wasn't impressed at all. However his numbers look great in ACB and Eurocup and from what I've seen recently as far as scouting/highlights videos, i have been very impressed. The strength and toughness will come as he gets older and matures. Especially if he has the right coaching but he looks very fluid with that size and length and smooth Jay. So it's hard for me to rank him.
Meanwhile, i believe Barcelona played on NBATV today, anyone catch that game? Did Hezonja play well?
Also, i am looking at the college Juniors and there is several real slept on guys that could break out next year and get drafted in the first round but aren't really being talked about in draft circles as much as they should. So I'll make a post about them in this thread soon
So Towns has taken over the top spot now huh
DX still has Jahlil as 1, but I think it's going to depend on the team that gets the pick.
Kings, Magic, Wolves, Nuggets all probably take Towns over Okafor.
@ the LeVert/Russell arguments from earlier in this thread... @Poitier whuhhappendbruh?
Starting to wonder if the Knicks would lean that way as well.

Flip would take OkaforDX still has Jahlil as 1, but I think it's going to depend on the team that gets the pick.

My personal top 10 for my team:
1) Jahlil Okafor
2) Karl Towns
3) Stanley Johnson
4) Justice Winslow
5) Emmanuel Mudiay
6) Mario Hezonja
7) Kelly Oubre
8) Montrezl Harrell
9) Caris Levert
10) D'Angelo Russell

Hezonja would probably be a top 3 pick if it were certain he'd come over, kid is the best offensive wing in the draft by a wide margin.
Has the explosiveness that Russell lacks, the shooting Winslow lacks and is more polished on offense than Johnson, plus he's 6'8".
i just don't see it with trez
i think he'll be an energy guy in the nba, he struggles so much when he plays people with length
look up his stats everytime he played kentucky, never did shyt against us cuz we always had good bigs. He has made some 3 point shots this season so its conceivable he can develop a jumpshot, I'm just not sure about him.
you think he can play the 3 or is best with a small line up as a 4?
How you think Dakari Johnson game will translate in the league
Who do you like more between the two?
How will Towns look in the short term? Is Okafor destined to be a Cousins, Vucecic, Al Jefferson type that puts up huge numbers offensively but doesn't get wins? Can we trust Duke prospects to fulfill their potential?![]()
