Yo im starting to think your right. It probably would have been better for Jameis if he had been drafted by the Titans.

Personally I wanted the Titans to draft him but people convinced me that Wisenhunt wasn't the right with Jameis :snoop:

Jameis is going to be great imo.

But I said it when he left college. You dont go from throwing 18 ints once your oline/wrs become suspect and then dominate the league.

Jimbo either decided not to improve Jameis footwork or simply didnt care. Thats his biggest issue right now. He has to fix his feet because the pressure is going to get there quicker in the NFL.

His freshman year he was sacked more. But for the most past he had all day to throw. Unless they play uptempo its going to be hard for him to start fast with Tampa's Oline.

Melvin Ingram was a guy i had high hopes for, SD's front should be loaded in theory. Attouchu/Teo/Perryman/Ingram is alot of early picks, all 1st or 2nd rounders they need em to produce

please dont let Pouncey's injury be serious, Albert already banged up might not be ready for the opener. Dolphins OL always got issues :sadcam:

Watching the Eagles/Packers replay

@Brady-Carter Mariota would have been unreal in the Eagles system :lupe:

Packers have the best QB development in the league. Hundley's improvement has been dramatic. Best place he could have went.

Traded for a 1st or 2nd round pick in a couple years :wow:@FAH1223

Honestly watching both play I thought Melvin Ingram >>>>> Jadaveon Clowney during his South Carolina career. Dude was a flat out beast.

I'm lowkey worried about Kaep and Wilson this year :lupe:

Kaep's not improving and Wilson's offense still isnt creative.

If Jimmy Graham ends up with 500 yards this year :snoop:

Yeah I was simply stating that if you take everything in regard, Jameis would've not only thrived much sooner, but would learned a lot more sophisticated things about quarterbacking in Tennessee. Whisenhunt wouldn't have had to work on fundamentals with Jameis like he does with Mariota, who he pretty much has to build from ground up rather than work on tidbits like he would with Jameis. Even Jameis' mentor/private quarterback coach (since he was young?) saw what Tennessee offered:

"Few people in the league have done as thorough a job in the development of quarterbacks as coach Whisenhunt. It shows whether he was with the Cardinals or Chargers or Steelers," Whitfield said. "If Jameis should land there, he would receive incredible coaching. Zach Mettenberger receives incredible coaching — so they are going to have a chance to win regardless of what they decide."

Plus Tennessee has a mean OLine and Bishop Sankey is a great compliment to a pocket passer, they also grabbed DGB too who would be a great WR for Jameis.

I think Jameis will be fine in Tampa also and still can be great. But still think Tennessee would've be incredible for him: a better fit for his style with a Hall of Fame-level coaching staff building him up. Ultimately it would have benefited his development much more and and Whisenhunt probably preferred him to Mariota. That's all I'm stating: it doesn't have to do with him as much as does the situation. For his skill set, a pocket passer guru like Whisenhunt grooming him from the start would have been ideal.
