Very cool..

+dap +rep Nice pics breh. :ehh:

Course looks better in your pics then it does on TV.

Thanks. The course is very nice don't be fooled. The view from the top of the course is amazing. It will look great once all the white tents and grandstands are removed and it's just back to being a normal course.

I'm not a golfer at all, but from what I've heard Mike Davis the head of the USGA wanted a tough course. He doesn't want -15 scores like most of the other courses. I mean the course isn't easy as you can tell by some of the scores the last day and a half. They purposely didn't water it which is why the greens are so dry. Normally the weather is wetter here in Washington so the course would be more green, but a combo of weather and Mike Davis has made the course look bad. The course and the way it's setup you are going to get players complaining about it. They aren't having their way with the course.

With that said the course is not perfect by any means. Holes are far apart, lots of walking, and some holes you can't see the players because of rolling hills.

This is great pic.

Easily my favorite of all the pics I took.

is the water part of the pugent sound?

the course is beautiful but the greens are a joke.

Yeah, that's part of the Puget Sound in the background.

You are correct about the greens being a joke. It's pretty much how Mike Davis wanted them to be. If the USGA wanted the greens could have been plush and green, but he wanted them to be a challenge.

I'm not sure it would have mattered. I know a friend that played there and he told me there have been a lot of complaints about the condition of the greens for years. The mixture of the grass, poia, and fescue is off. That's why you got balls bouncing during putts? That's not right. The course isn't rewarding good shots. Luckily the weather has been good or else we'd be seeing way worse scores.
