Ha, the ole stats crutch. Your numbers need context though. What you mean to say is harden produced great numbers playing with a game predicated on being a floppin ass nikka and living at the free throw line only to ultimately disappear in the playoffs. The two don't compare, if the Rockets got even 01 Kobe they advance to the Finals. harden doesn't and never will have the type of offensive arsenal that Kobe had. I'm convinced you're just trolling, either that or you never watch the '01 Lakers.
I watched the '01 Lakers and I'm not trolling. You can't tell me Kobe was harder to stop than Harden was last season. If so then how?

'01 Kobe was much more athletic, a better slasher, much better defender, didn't need to live at the line to score. And that's just young '01 Frobe I'm talkin bout. Kobe always used different methods to score from the moment he became an elite player. harden rides the pine in the playoffs while Kobe was the Lakers closer in most situations. We all saw harden get stopped, Kobe was seldom stopped if he had a healthy title worthy squad around him. Just stop it, harden wouldn't even survive a matchup against young or prime Kobe this conversation is ridiculous.

The hell I can't, just cuz harden relies on it more doesn't make him better. harden isn't better than Kobe at anything to be honest. :yeshrug:

I'm bout to go eat some breakfast, go on youtube and watch Kobe's highlights from '01 he was light years ahead of harden as a young nikka. The comparison is insulting and I'm done with this discussion. :camby:

you cant expect these lwo fags to answer seriously.

Lakers might be favoured but it wouldnt be no damn sweep or 5 game series. fukk outta here.

Lakers had no depth on that squad. The fukking Sixers with Iverson, a washed up Mutombo and Aaron McKie has their big 3 stole a game against the Lakers and you dumbasses think shyt would be sweet against the warriors :laff: :laff:. Put the Koolaid down for a second. That Lakers team was great but lacked the depth of the Warriors.

Bogut and Ezeli wouldnt stop Shaq but would it isnt like Shaq would be dropping 40 a game.
Igoudala wouldnt stop Kobe but could certainly stifle him.

Between those two you might get 50 points a game. But who else is scoring the next 50?

Sixers were inefficient shooters and outside of AI (but still including AI) relied heavily on interior offense which played to the Lakers strengths on defense. Warriors are the exact opposite. It's a 7 game series

that 01 lakers team was just nasty....will never forget what they did to the spurs in game 3 and 4 at staples :whew: . David Robinson was stuttering and stammering in the post game and Pop was talkin about how he knew what"Custer felt" during his last stand :dead:

GS would be lucky to win a game

Kobe is not the nikka yall try to act like he is. He is one of the GOATs due to his resume, longevity and having the fortune of playing with good support but was not at any time unstoppable during the 00s the same way Lebron and Durant have been (to use recent examples). I'm not buying what yall selling

Igou would put hands on him and Klay would get loose on offense

You're ridiculously overrating Iggy, Bogut, and Ezeli while somehow underrating that 01 Lakers team role players of Fox, Horry, Fish, and George. They had length and athleticism out the ass. Delladova is a shadow of Tyronn Lue. They had a gear that literally no one else outside of the 72-10 Bulls team had. Bogut and Ezeli are only good off ball defenders (Mozgov gave them fits. I was happy Blatt kept him on the bench). Iggy didn't stop Bron (who averaged 30+ points) and has a WAY less diverse offensive skillset than Kobe. Two of the GREATEST players ever when they were in sync and highly motivated, along with top notch defenders and two of the greatest clutch shot makers in history (Fish and Horry), a HOF coach on a team that blew the doors off a ridiculously stacked western conference vs Steph, a streaky Klay, and a gang of mixed parts who hasn't even played the Spurs or OKC yet.

I'm a Warriors fan, but y'all need to stop with the anointing until after December or maybe at least until they play the Spurs, OKC, or the Cavs again. Honestly, the team ain't even playing that good. It's mostly Steph just going the fukk off.

This is 2015 breh. They have stats for everything. You can easily shut me up with stats that can prove your point. I'll rep you if you can. Compare their stats and get back at me.

And I'm still waiting on one single clip of Curry making any good defensive play other than a steal:win:

Bron shot like 35-40% from what I remember...and this is a player I consider unstoppable. Hence iggy didn't stop him but he held him a bit. If lebron was shooting 40%...I'm sure Kobe would shoot just as bad if not worse

Like I said...gsw wouldn't beat LAL...but if the Sixers took a game...GSW taking at least two. cause im confident GS wouldve swept the sixers.

this never mattered. having 2 top players in their primes is usually overwhelming enough. Kobe and Shaq were that good. And the doubles on Shaq often left a shooter open somewhere
