If you move forward it's because randle, Ingram, Russell, and clarkson

Why sacrifice your future cap space for deng and mozgov? That does nothing for them except guarantee they don't have their first round pick in the deepest draft in a decade

They have cap space and they have to spend the money somewhere. At least they're getting veterans who will be a good influence in the locker room.

That's about as much positive spin I can put on that.

Lakers destroyed the foundation kobe set for them

If you wanted a veteran al jefferson and joe johnson cost 10 mil a year

You could have waited until the end of free agency to sign guys to long term des after everyone else ran out of cap space

What an incompetent group of people

Kobe put them in a position to compete for championships in 3 or 4 years and they threw it away

Sh*t for 18 mil they coulda prolly had wade

These dudes tying up money for r years :snoop:

Being real..

I'd rather watch Kobe back out there for another year getting 30 mil :wow:

Kyle Lowry is NOT a better defender than Conley. Conley made the all defensive team in 2013. He's regarded as one of the top perimeter defenders at PG in the league. Numbers don't lie, they are neck and neck in the stats sheet in their career so far. Mike Conley has a better FG% at 44% compared to Lowrys 42%. Kyle averages 5.7 assist per game for his career compared to Conleys 5.6 apg. When you factor in all the intangibles that Conley brings to the table I.e consistency, his floor general abilities, his clutchness, I'm giving the edge to Mike Conley :yeshrug:

Lowry is definitely a better defender than Conley, and Kyle can guard SGs. Neither can shoot, but Kyle plays hard 100% of the time. Conley is not consistent, the only thing he can do is manage an offense, but he also never averaged 7apg. And he's like the only "Top 10" that can't average 20ppg. He's good, but he's not a difference maker. If Lowry is your PG, he instantly gives your team an identity.

Hate to inform you that B Scott is no longer the coach of the Lakers.

How can you move forward and keep the pick? You would have to be extremely lucky or Silver would have the rig the lottery for you. You can't keep relying on the draft to save you.

The Lakers got 2 good locker room vets who can mentor some of the draft picks. If the signings are structured with team options, along with health, the signings go from solid to good.

Do you honestly think Swaggy P and Lou "Jack Tripper" Will should be the main vets influencing the young core?

The cap goes up next year. The Lakers still have close to 20 million left.

Again who are these one year signings the Lakers should have went with. Wes Johnson? Wayne Ellington? Sacre? Ronnie Price?

Memphis biggest losers of this FA. Paired 247 mil for 28 points and injury risks

Cuz maybe deng has something in the tank left and Hayes isn't 7 foot. I'm not saying these are amazing signings just giving reasons why they probable signed them
I'm just saying, why not just sign vets to big money 1 year deals if you gotta spend it? Wasting cap space for multiple years is senseless but I'm enjoying the show.

I think lakers gave up on big name FA signing. They are now going with lets roll with youth and surround them with high character veterans and let them grow

The grooming stage. I don't mind the signings. We only need a quailty potential big for our core, the easiest position to come right in and contribute. Even with Whiteside or biyombo or whoever we were still going to be about 3 or 4 years away from anything frfr so why not let em grow
