The thing is this was all explained multiple times on this board.

There was a limited pool of talent and a lot of money available this off-season.

Cavs were smart to lock their core in last year.
Sort of wish they locked up JR and Delly though...

But after JR's finals I could understand Griffin waiting on it :francis:

Fools quick to dismiss anything the Rockets do but had they got nothing they'd say we couldn't land anybody. Just admit ya'll gonna hate on whatever the Rockets do.

Zach Lowe seemed to approve of the fit :manny:

If we can get a PG and wing now like @MilesTailsPrower said we should at least be in better shape than last year:ehh:

JR was skittish in the Finals in 15 and his defense was sporadic.

He made up for it this season on both sides. His 1 1/2 years with the team has given the organization confidence in his ability to be a professional. They consider him a priority now.

And as far as Delly...Cavs needed bench offense that he simply couldn't provide.

So is Mo going to be the backup? Or do they have other plans?

Windhorst said they turned down Ennis from the Bucks.

They could keep Millsap if they trade Splitter and Sefelosha, but I am guessing Horford wants to start at 4 and they are choosing him over Millsap
