Expected this earlier. I always thought Lawson would end up back with George Karl so he could play that up and down game. Didn't expect it with Karl gone.Ty Lawson is exactly the kind of player the Kings would sign.

I dont think they are a lotto team this year. Last season they mortgaged for the off season. They set themselves up for a possible bid on KD by not extending the people they were supposed to extend and majority of the roster (only six are back-with keiff a late addition) were on a one year deal. Basically stop gaps.
As a result you had Dudley and gooden as the fours and they suck defensively especially. You had the two lead guards playing injured (beals issues are mostly due to him still growing). The first problem has been fixed with the addition of markeiff and the team still managed a .500 record.
Alot will depend on Wall and beals health. We have inexperience at the wing and need to add depth there but have a very solid. (Unlike previous years big man group.) Keiff for mobile fours, gortat on pick and rolls, mahinmi defense, jason smith best mid range shooter and can hit threes, Nicholson with the post game can hit threes and attack the close out. The last two cause of their range will be particularly problematic vs Toronto and valinciunas.
So granted i cant say where we would be placed on regular seaskn record but this a team that has advanced to second round the last few years except this one where no ones heart was in it.. They shut out the coach at one point too.. Hes now fired.

Yeah he was gone after this year anyways. Probably wasn't gonna get enough minutes to showcase him to raise value either with Jokic/Nurkic/Faried/Arthur/Juancho all needing minutes.

Wiz will be a top 5 team tho . If they were healthy they would have been much better last season . I feel brooks is also a great upgrade
He is a career double-double player and a good finisher. OKC brought Kanter in to sway Durant's decision on some "See, we brought help!" type shyt, but McGary does everything that he does. If you give him minutes he shines.

Smooth sailing from here on out...
Damn shame Mitch is more than likely gone. He does enough on offense to be useful if you put solid defenders around him to help cover for him there. Just kept getting hurt at terrible times & can't stay off the weed.
