I want to hate this, but assuming the deal wasn't too ridiculous and they still got a couple other big targets, the Lakers would be pretty interesting next year. The no chance in hell scenario would be Conley, Batum and Whiteside.
Starting lineup of Conley, Russell, Batum, Nance and Whiteside with Clarkson, Ingram and Randle off the bench. I'd be shocked to see them do something that had Ingram coming off the bench though.

Yeah, Phil said Hornacek can run his system, which is one of the reasons they got Rose.
They'll still run it but it wont be the set everytime down the floor.

I'll go on record saying I think he has something left in the tank. He'll be an effective rebounder, defender and passer. People are discounting how bad Hoiberg handled that situation last year with Joakim
Why am I the only one that thinks they could get a bunch of under the radar signings and be better than expected? they won 20 games with a garbage roster last year, Hollis Jefferson missed a good chunk of the season, and they only lost Thaddeus young
they would have to have a horrible offseason to not improve on their team from last season
Woj on Mannix radio show talked about the Hawks aggressively pursuing Horford and they are working on the deal with his agent. I wouldn't take anything an ESPN employee says seriously even Lowe.

The Melo no trade locked them into strategy, unless they get those three on a short bargain deals it's a 5 or 6th seed at best with a one year window
A 5 year deal is far more than anything else on the open market
I think Noah can still be a solid player for 25-30 minutes a night and will surprise people with his play. Don't know if he can get to the level he was at a couple of years ago but I believe he can still be a double double guy in the league.
