I don't know how young athletes can see the $$ numbers in the MLB and NBA and think playing football is the smart move. You're practically killing yourself for a fraction of what you could get in these other sports.

Yea..but Cavs tried to play the hardball approach last year and it didnt work, toronto was waiting in the wings ready to scoop him at whatever price. There will always be teams willing to overpay. If bazemore starting at 20m, beal would be a clown to take anything less. The market is the market. Looks extreme but if every team doing it, thats what it is
