Biyombo is an elite rim protector and can actually finish a layup, I'd much rather have him than a 30 year old Noah who can't even dunk anymore.

cap needs to stay. max contracts and caps on individual contracts need to go, so you wont see scrub ass dudes getting 140 mil

This may be the other answer. As long as dudes going "well I only played 60 games and scored 8 PPG but I can get 25% of 100 mill " dumb ass deals will continue getting done. Contention will stay with ~5 teams who are smart. Lockouts will continue.

Biyombo is 23*; anchored a top-10 defense (technically 11th) and was arguably a top-5 rim protector last season + has a clean bill of health. Noah is 31; has noticeably declined on both ends and has a # of health concerns.

@Soundwave I think you might need to bring out dem thangs.
