Biyombo is an elite rim protector and can actually finish a layup, I'd much rather have him than a 30 year old Noah who can't even dunk anymore.
We relying on dunking to determine how good a player is now? :what:

Noah is an great defender and the perfect passer which is what Phil wants. Y'all getting hyped off a few blocks biyombo had in the offs against the cavs. Talk about of the moment.

The cap was supposed to be a means of the cheaper owners wanting to remain competitive with the ones who want to spend, while not having to spend. That's not gonna change :beli:.
I don't see no cheap owner anywhere :skip:
cap needs to stay. max contracts and caps on individual contracts need to go, so you wont see scrub ass dudes getting 140 mil
This may be the other answer. As long as dudes going "well I only played 60 games and scored 8 PPG but I can get 25% of 100 mill :takedat:" dumb ass deals will continue getting done. Contention will stay with ~5 teams who are smart. Lockouts will continue.

The derozan contract is not so bad. Way Better than Bradley Beal.

Beal: 5 year 130 million

Derozan: 5 year 138 union

:scust: wizards.

No All Star games
No All NBA team
Only 70+ games once
No 20 PPG season
Not even the best player on his team

130 Ms

:mindblown:

I know we shouldn't worry about another man's pocket, but maaaaan this would bug me so much if I was John Wall :heh:

He's gotta be trying. Give a guy who averaged I think 5 and 4 per game and eventually lose his spot in the rotation entirely he became so useless? What the fukk is Phil doing too? Giving noah that contract in 2016 with his injury history and his lack of scoring ability?
phil ain't giving noah no max fukking deal. phil's cheap ass would rather play some d league nikka than give someone he doesn't know max money :philha:

Biyombo is 23*; anchored a top-10 defense (technically 11th) and was arguably a top-5 rim protector last season + has a clean bill of health. Noah is 31; has noticeably declined on both ends and has a # of health concerns.

@Soundwave I think you might need to bring out dem thangs. :francis:

Good thing Masai signed JV last year. Homie would've probably got 20-22 mill a year today.

Somebody answer this for me.

1. How much did the cap go up?

2. What leads to an increase in cap (ie. Commissioner allows it now, more sales from popcorn, etc)?
