We don't know that salaries will get closer to equal though. We had a 5 year stretch where the cap moved by less than 1 mil
If the cap doesn't keep growing at an outrageous pace then pretty much every team in the league will be capped out and salaries will deflate
but there will be always be a handful of teams going into summers with a lot of cap space. And I think eventually, places that werent FA destinations before will become more attractive because they can offer that extra money the teams tying themselves up now won't have the room too. The money goes to who is available to get it, not who is deserving.
I'm just thinking the teams like Minnesota, Philly, Denver and places like that, who don't usually sign people will have so much available space that theyll be forced to give out similar contracts to mediocre players since that'll be the only way they can get them. Places like that have to over pay for FA's already, but I don't know how they can avoid it now.
Nicholson can really shoot and put up points, if he's given minutes.
