I still for the life of me don't understand why they stopped sending the Yankees out on West Coast trips to begin the season, especially since winter out here lasts til late April anyway

I really don't get why they even bother opening the season here in NY for either team. Sounds wild, but they should start the season on like a 10-day road trip to give the Spring a bit to settle in. Shyt is brutal baseball weather until mid-April.
