I've watched watched about 5 of
Stroman's starts(playoffs included), can anyone tell me what's so special about him? I'm not saying he's garbarge, but I'm not seeing the hype.

See Eovaldi's pitch selection is killing him. That's the difference between a good pitcher and a bad.

Now he's overthrowing that Splitter and the hitters see it coming.

Eovaldi's relied way too heavily on his secondary pitches third time through the order. You're gonna have to throw that fastball every once in a while to keep the batters honest.

Nobody considers Matz that guy yet and any Mets fan will agree he has a lot to prove. Besides we have other legitimate starters, he's our 4/5.

Let's talk Pineda and Tanaka though

Matz is the most overrated pitcher in your rotation. A lot of Mets fans I talk to put him in the same category as the rest of the big three when in reality, he's probably the lefty version of Wheeler which is probably a solid #2-3 starter. Pineda and Tanaka are our number one and two starters unfortunately when in actuality they would be number threes in an average rotation.
