I'm OK with us paying a righty slugger on a 2-3 year deal, someone like Nelson Cruz (I know he signed but that's the type of player we could use)

I'd prefer signing a middle of the rotation starter like rich hill on a short deal rather than blowing the farm on a Chris sale
