The 2017 Ford Fusion benefits from an attractive facelift as part of its refresh, but the Blue Oval also hopes to lure customers with an extra dash of performance from the new Fusion V6 Sport trim. The automaker slots a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 under the hotter sedan's hood, pumping out 325 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, and the power then routes through a six-speed automatic gearbox to an all-wheel-drive system.

:whoo: I drove a rental Fusion Titanium last year and it wasn't too bad, but with the extra 100 hp it's gotta be an amazing ride.

I can see this in a motor trend head2head with the A4 for sure, but it will lose on the luxury front. But this will definitely be a sleeper. Can't wait to cop. I wish they would have went with the ST moniker instead of sport though.

THE TWIN TURBO KITS WILL MAKE THIS DISGUSTING.
Depends. It's a Ford Fusion. They are putting in a V6 into what normally takes in transversely mounted 4-cylinder. The V-6 plus the one turbo probably takes up any possible space left.
Not saying its not possible, but getting a second turbo manifold might not even be possible, space-wise.
I see they are going all-wheel drive with this. It could become a sleeper.

All 2.7 Ecoboosts are already twin turbo'd

So this means they are going to kill the taurus or but the mks 3.0 in the taurus
The Taurus is in the full-size sedan category and the fusion is mid-sized sedan. Power-wise, the fusion V6 is crossing over into the taurus performance capabilities, but size-wise, the fusion is still smaller.
