Drop off in production between Wes and Luc isn't that big and Doc overuses small ball lineups anyway. And we don't need to overpay a "good" FA for a limited role especially while we've sunken even deeper into the western conference. Affalo is a free agent though split the minutes between Affalo and Lou Will that's reasonable. That's what I would do anyway. I know Doc isn't going to do it but Juwan Evans shouldn't be stuck in the D-Leage nor the other rooks and sophmores either. Anthony Tolliver on the kings was nice too to hit some 3's of the bench.
Yal'll might disagree but imo this is the year we should plan for the future. See what Brice Johnson, Diamond Stone, Dekker, Harrell, Juwan Evans, and Sindarious Thronwell is about. See if Blake can stay healthy, run the offense through him, and see if his heart is back in the game.
I can see if we were a superteam and we just needed to fill out the roster but where not championship material unless something miraculous happens. Really there's no need to be signing a Zbo, Rudy Gay, PJ Tucker, James Johnson types. Plus Doc will play these types to death and have all the youngsters either in the G League, in street clothes or simply rotting on the bench. Play the rooks. See what we working with. Move the franchise forward into the future.
Nah I agree. But with Doc I know it won't happen. It's back to extreme mediocrity so I don't have any expectations anymore.
I'm shocked Ballmer hasn't let him go yet. I'd dismiss Doc and promote Sam Cassel as head coach. We just need a new forward thinking unbiased coach who has an actual offensive system and wants to develop young players.

Doc like "yea i want d.rose mcgee and rudy gay" west like chill big fella we finally gettin danilo, we gettin the milos tesla and tony allen for a year until im ready to splash again summer 2018
