2017 NFL Divisional Game Scheduling (Late Season Overload)

I'm looking at the Patriots schedule and some other teams schedules, and it's divisional match-up overload at the end of the season.

The Patriots don't play the Dolphins until week twelve, and don't play the Bills until week thirteen.:what:.

The Dolphins don't play the Bills until week fifteen and the Saints don't play the Falcons until week fourteen.:why:.


Do you like all of these late season divisional games? I'm not talking about playing each divisional opponent in the last few weeks, but not playing one of them until week TWELVE or later?

The NFL only has 16 games. I tend to teams aren't at their best in terms of figuring out their strengths and weaknesses until late in the season, so I'm not against this late scheduling bias. This also means teams are less likely to take games lightly late in the season, which is good for fans.

I cannot stand that damn "division rivals face each other twice in three weeks" type of scheduling like we (Saints) are facing with the Funboys Week 14 (ATL on a Thursday night) and Week 16 (N.O. on a Sunday afternoon). :stopitslime:

We had the same type of scheduling last year Weeks 14 and 16 with the Buccaneers (Week 14 in Tampa and Week 16 in N.O.). :stopitslime:

Seasons should always open with divisional rivals in at least 1 of the first 2 weeks IMO
