I’m not really sure who in college was Self’s best guard prospect, but Mason as a Senior was pretty high on that definition. Never in a million years, did anyone think he would end up a consensus first team all american national POY kid. Grimes is thinking one and done, so we’ll see.

When I say prospect I’m referring to them coming in to KU. I don’t see him putting up 20/5/5 but I think I’m 5 years he’ll be considered Self’s best guard pro wise.

Newman competes defensively but he just hasn’t been the offensive threat expected. I’m not really sure what he does after the season ends cause his people thought he was gonna cook and leave. Now with Grimes and Dotson coming in shyt gets different cause they’re starting as freshman.

Shareef was a fringe all American guy always. He needed to dominate his senior year..Cherry probably has more of a case to be frustrated. Like Clint said he’ll get in the Jordan game.

@Poitier only reason McCormack is in cause this class just needs a center. Being an oak hill and adidas kid probably didn’t hurt either.
