Yeah, the QBs that end up in that race always tend to have running back by committee in their backfield. Brady year after year, Wentz last year, Ryan the year before with Freeman/Coleman, Rodgers year after year, etc ..

Hard to accumulate an MVP resume when you have an alpha dog RB.

You might be right about that. He went for 28/7 and 3.8k yards last year, he's gonna need to be at 35+ TDs and 4k+ yards with a top 3 record to win MVP this year.

Assuming Gurley is health all year then he's gonna hover around what he had last year.

Brees Rodgers or Brady seem like the obvious picks.

If Watson plays the entire season he has a good shot as well

If healthy, Watson. He should be able to lead the league in both td’s & rush yards (amongst qb’s).
