They don't get paid a salary. The NBA covers their flights, room and board, and they give them a per diem of $150 a day.
There’s only a couple guys on each team that have guaranteed deals. Everybody else is basically auditioning for NBA teams, G-League teams or overseas.
Like at least give a go a la Zion and if you are too out of shape shut it down but some guys didn't even show up to Vegas to even be told they weren't going to playing, lol.

The wackest Summer League in years because of the lack of starpower. I can not remember a year where this many of the top rookies were out.
10 first rounders out either because of injury or their teams sitting them out: Morant, Garland, Culver, Reddish, Cam Johnson, Washington, Langford, Okeke, Jerome & Porter. Bitadze not playing because of visa issues. Zion & Doumboya only played only game. Hunter/Hayes/NAW missed games waiting for the trade to go through.
So over half of the 1st round picks either didn’t play at all or were limited.

I was so hyped for this SL but nobody fukking playing
I was most pissed at Culver, Cam Johnson, Washington, Langford, Jerome & Porter Jr. None of those guys had injuries, why the fukk weren't you out here?
