Re: Malek. When the movie is mediocre at best (according to critics), you shouldn't be rewarded with a Best Actor win. Cooper probably goes back to doing comedies after getting shut out entirely.

I agree somewhat....but Denzel won for Training Day...and while I think he deserved that Oscar, aside from his performance, that movie was trash.
