...real talk, about 13 years ago in north carolina, a sewer worker sent a mech droid into the sewers with a camera attached to check pipes. the camera caught multiple blobs of this stuff on the walls of the sewer. they would all seize up at the slightest touch or flicker of light. they were black like the thing in the op. i thought it was some alien s**t, some nerd tried to argue it was worms. the next week or two, the video got pulled off the interwebs. i've tried searching it a couple of years ago, but nothing.
