While Jill's speech was average (had good content though), the optics was great especially for the white woman vote. Jill in a classroom. Jill being a ordinary happy white teacher who's had family suffering and have empathy, Joe coming in at the end and big upping her. Together they just look like a ordinary old couple.

That's appealing.
