He’s really good on the monopoly stuff, finance, analyzing bailouts. We don’t talk about the history of those topics enough.

Being good at exposing classism seems to create a massive blindspot in people like him for the way the rest of the world works. The problems he identifies need to be fixed, but whether he thinks so or not, some issues are more pressing.

You guys are so used to seeing Kamala on some killer aggresive shyt.

She’s being formally introduced to the public so she has to do the whole song and dance to make her relatable.

Relax. She’ll be making Pence her a bytch soon enough
Exactly. A lot of the dudes in here just don't like Kamala, so they see what they want to see. Kamala gave a good speech. It was her nomination speech not a debate or campaign speech.

The fact that you have to explain this. SMH :martin:

i didnt get to see all of it, but of what i saw, i think this was the most effective night.

1. liz had the best moment i saw. kinda sucks because she kinda shows us why she would be the far better VP pick
2. kamala's speech was ok. probably had emotional and symbolic significance for asian americans
3. i didnt see any weird shyt
4. i dont agree with aspects of obama's speech, and i think he is not persuasive with people who dont already agree with him, but at least he ditched the optimistic stuff for a tone more fitting of reality. a bit late and self serving but i'll take it.

This was a large part of my issue with Obama’s speech, it’s basically clapter comedy, designed to elicit head nods from the already converted. He’s incredibly polished, which is a skill in and of itself, but he rarely ever says anything profound or novel or actually interesting. He’s always at an arm’s length, never any surprises or moments of genuine passion. But that’s because his ideology is firmly Mainstream American, Ken Burns stuff. He always has to couch his criticisms with rote optimistic pablum. Whenever I hear an Obama speech I feel like I'm eating a white person's attempt at making jerk chicken. The spices are there but it just ain't hitting right.

I’m already seeing a lot of takes saying he gave one of the best speeches of all time tonight and I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. He did have some hot lines in the middle though, I have to give him that.

Yeahhh he can’t just take things out the constitution................doesn’t quite work like that.
You realize who we’re talking about, right? He thinks the rules don’t apply to him, and definitely was no aware that the president can’t simply do what he wants. He would definitely attempt to do it.

:mjlol: i dont think hes gonna die, but im more and more confident by the day: joe biden will not be giving the state of the union in 2024

Every time he appears on camera, just LOOKS like he’s not going to make it.
