It was a fantastic point and I very much believe he's right. Plus, it's something Biden can do with the Executive power alone, doesn't need Congress. It would immediately quell any revolt or pressure from the progressive wing, garnering him massive progressive credibility and giving him the breathing room to make his next move. It would be a massive benefit he can claim unilateral credit for. Would turn Millenials and Zoomers into Biden Democrats.
