She should have. She should have started the speech by introducing herself and her background, then getting to it. Burying Trump would have longer headlines in the news and lasting effect on voters than her speech. There wasn't anything meaningful in her speech.

Again, on this platform when so many major news networks are covering it live, it's that time to make a mark.

Bro I'm saying, she's a black, woman, daughter of immigrants. Trump's entire political program has been about invalidating your whole identity. She could have turned this man 6 ways from Sunday in a way no other speaker could. And she has the chops to do it.
