disagree. That dude jalolov knocking mfs out

Put some respeck on andy cruz

Yeah, I shouldn't have painted it all with the same brush because there's still good fighters there. It's just that between silly point-scoring systems and straight fixed judges, it's so easy for those good fighters to get tripped up by matches they dominate. That's been happening for a minute now obviously but I think for me it really jumped the shark when all those Indian fighters came in who didn't even look like they were there to box, they were there to grab holds to keep you from getting your punches off and then occasionally tap you with the glove for a "point".

Remember this one? The idea that Spence was losing that bout at any point.... :laff:

We missed the 1940 and 1944 Olympics, a good chunk of athletes missed the 1980 and 1984 Olympics, the world still kept turning.

It's not the world I care about nikka its the athletes. nikkas like you dont know what it's like to fight and prepare everyday for something...blood, sweat, tears and time. Giving your heart to something. I was fortunate to be a great college athlete who got to train with the elites in high school and college. Armchair nikkas have no idea what it takes to get to an Olympic level in something

You just described move of the events :hhh:

Meh, looking at the list of events I'm bored by all the throwing events except for hammer, swimming unless there's someone meaningful involved, cycling, all the boat stuff, weightlifting, the horse stuff, diving, the artistic swimming, rhythmic gymnastics, all the shooting stuff, and beach volleyball.

Like I said before that leaves the running, fighting, X-games-type shyt, and team sports that are all pretty entertaining to me. Which is a lot.

Post usain bolt olympics I need to see who taking the crown :wow:
200m championships looking interesting:ehh:
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce:wow:
Wade Van Nierkerk unstoppable in the 400:wow:
Can david Rudisha probably the most dominant 800 runner of all time retain despite age and injuries? :ohhh:
Boxing and wrestling at the olympics :wow:
Hell yea I meant to talk about Olympic wrestling earlier. The grind that wrestlers go through combined with the weight cutting is unimaginable, even by most other athletes’ standards. There’s been drama in the wrestling community lately too. Kyle Snyder leaving for Penn State and his replacement at OSU (Cox) planning to take him on at the trials, Jordan Burroughs looking for redemption (with Kyle Dake trying to ruin it for him and take his place), David Taylor on the comeup and peaking at the right time.

How ironic that it’s time like these when we need sports the most.

Jordan gotta take it mane. Last olympics he got upset and he's been on a tear ever since.
Cox the goods? I favor Abdulrashid Sadulaev in this olympics. Man is a prodigy breh

If we survive, we get to see another Olympics in 2024 ... excuse me if I think that matters of life and death could be more important than some bread and circuses. :hhh:

I agree that it should postponed til 2021. The every 4 years thing is arbitrary. Give us 2021 olympics then turn around and give us 2024 olympics. No reason not to, unless the virus mutates or some wild shyt next year.
