The reason it seems like luck is because they always make you pay and break your back.

A lot of teams would've settled for a field goal or committed penalties and knocked themselves out of scoring range after that botched punt. KC hit a 75 yard one play score and then cashed in that turnover for 6, immediate 14 point swing.
