These cacs on the Panthers boards are actually against getting Deshaun citing morality and all kinds of bullshyt...

Bruh this shyt ain't church every NFL team has dirt on players regardless.....and Deshaun would be the first top 5 quarterback we've ever had. Even when Cam won mvp it's not like he was a top 5 actual quarterback in the league....

Panthers Cacs and Panthers Twitter are two of the most toxic things ive seen in my life. Add Panthers Facebook to that too

I don't agree with this. Who were five quarterbacks that played better than him in 2015? I see an argument for Brady, Palmer and Wilson but that's it. Rodgers and Brees would be purely by reputation; they had down years by their standards.

I know Cam's unfortunately for the most part looked at as a joke now but that was one of the best offensive seasons of all time. Damn the raw numbers, look at what he did with who he had

He still had overthrows out the ass and missed plenty of throws. The only thing I’ll give him credit is his best wide receivers we’re Ted Ginn and Damire Bird…

He was amazing with the short yardage run game.

I agree!!!!

people just don’t like him for whatever reason

it’s his second year in the league and he hasn’t played terrible.
Its almost like Tua would have been better not playing at all his rookie year. People are judging him off last year for real.

He's productive now (as a 2nd year) player.

Coaching cost them the last two games.

Naw he was top 5 that year.

Cam just regressed/got injured the following year. Shoulder was never the same.

His last year with a great WR was 2013 and even then Smitty was towards the end. While Watson might be a better pure pocket passer. I think (young) Cam would have been just as good as Watson with the Texans if he had Hopkins, Fuller, etc those years as well. Not to mention BOB for all his faults was way better than Shula as an OC.

I feel like people just wanna get rid of Tua for whatever reason :patrice:

I haven't watched a lot of him. However, I'd say some of that has to do with him being involved in Watson trade rumors. And, I'd also say that if a team feels like they've seen enough and can upgrade the QB position, you go and do that, no matter the draft status of a player.

I haven't seen enough of him to have an opinion.

Last year unfortunately has put a cloud over Cam's overall career it seems. Yeah he missed some throws and had weaknesses, every QB does. It was just pointed out/criticised more because of who he was. NFL media and (white) fans never liked him and from day one were out to tear him down

But make no mistake in his prime he was a great player; Panthers surrounded him with meh his whole career and asked him to literally be superman until his body broke down. He did a whole lot with what little help he was given
