It's pretty brilliant if you think about it. Every fan base has a reason to cheer/care at the end of the season. That one small rule change plus their draft rules made every game matter. Every single team will either have a chance at the playoffs or a chance at a top 10 pick at the end of the year.The NFL stays winning.
