I know we're a long way from this point but low key, the 49ers and Jimmy G might end up in the Superbowl again lol.

If the 49ers upset the Packers (which is very possible) and the Rams beat the Bucs (also very possible)...it would be the Rams vs 49ers, and SF owns them nikkas. It will be an interesting NFC playoff weekend for sure.

Any of the 4 in NFC can make it. Homefield advantage is huge this week so it will be tough for 9ers to do it on the road again and then again next week but the Bucs did it last season so :yeshrug:

Aaron Rodgers 2021 season:
68.9% completion percentage
4,115 yards
37 TD
4 INT
111.90 Passer rating

Kirk Cousins 2021 season:
66.3% completion percentage
4,221 yards
33 TD
7 INT
103.10 Passer rating

Aaron Rodgers is an MVP candidate.
Kirk Cousins won't get a single vote.

Now I'm not saying Kirk Cousins deserves to be the MVP, but it should be clear to everyone how much team record and other narratives drive the public's perception on who is great and who isn't.

And to be clear, there are other metrics one can look at that might highlight the gap between those players in a better way (Rodgers' QBR is 68.9 to Cousins' 52.0).
But the point stands.

You are absolutely right..

Decent QBs in this modern day NFL with these rule changes all put up historic numbers.

Look at Dak’s numbers he threw 37 tds and 11 picks but we know he’s not an elite QB that can elevate his team..

Kirk Cousins is not an elite QB but his numbers say otherwise..

shyt is crazy

Breh believe me I’m a Vikings fan and Kirk is a horrible comparison.

he can’t come close to Rodgers in any conceivable metric.

he left so many plays on the table this season.

fukk him and I hope we punt him to Bolivia.

If you are saying that Aaron Rodgers is better than Kirk Cousins, I agree with you.

The question is...how much better?
My argument is that the gap is smaller than people might think.
I'm not saying there is no gap.

The way I’m looking at it is a little different. There’s no real definitive separation stat wise from Rodgers, Cousins and Prescott but we know only one of those QBs are truly elite.

These owners have to establish some kind of middle class for these QBs or else their teams are gonna be fukked.

Dak is a play action QB that needs a running game but he’s paid like he can carry you to a SB like Tom Brady.

There is no real middle class for good starting NFL QBs.

The gap is massive. Believe me, pair Rodgers with Jefferson, Cook, and this offense and I promise you he is willing this team to a 12-5 record.

Kirk has blown games that were there for the taking, perfect example is the Cowboys game on MNF at home against their backup since Dak was injured.

The key is the eyeball test, watching the games is just very frustrating watching this cac.

@AlbertPullhoez and other Viking fans know.

Put Aaron on the Vikings and they'd be in the Super Bowl and I don't even fukk with him like that

Kirk is a perfect example of don't let the numbers fool you

Perfect example. 2 or 3 to 1 TD to interception ratio.

Piles up on yards, but let the game be a tight back and forth affair and this fukker melts down.

Even the Packer game we won at home earlier in the year, man threw 2-3 balls directly in the hands of Packers defenders.

He short circuits and consistently misses open people. Now I get why Diggs hated this man and why Jefferson wants him to :camby:

He cost Justin at least another 10-15 catches, 250 more yards and a few TD's this season on missed throws
