Depends who it is for me. If my team lost to someone escaping a long playoff drought like the Bengals last night, then I’d happily root for them the rest of the way. Especially when their fans have seen worse moments (‘15 Wild Card).

If my team lost to a storied franchise or one with a spoiled fanbase, no I will not be rooting for them the rest of the way. Just my personal preference.
