His ERA over the last month is 12. Maybe he finds the ability to pitch again in San Diego.

I don't care if it's 24, I would still trust him in the 8th over some of the other options in the pen, and we still need a lefty reliever

I would have loved to trade for Josh hader and have him be the setup guy for Diaz. That one move would have elevated the pen but at least he's not going to the nl East

The Brewers giving up on him is weird and a red flag IMO. I would prefer Gregory Soto, he is having a better year.

I agree with how the front office is handling this.
I do want 1 reliever preferably a lefty. But another bat is optional IMO, only at the right price. I am willing to give Vientos the shot.

Brewers probably wanted major league players for him to help now and the Mets really aren't in the position to help with that.

scherzer has been an INCREDIBLE addition to the mets. cant take him for granted. HOF pitcher still killing it.
