I was thinking the same thing about Bryant, but where would you play him? Just keep McNeil’s team friendly contract at 2nd, and throw more money on arms. Let’s get another proven starter and start to work on that bullpen. Need to resign Hand. Need a few more arms.

Have him handle 3rd and let Escobar play 2nd and battle McNeil for the starting lineup. Whoever doesn't get 2nd can be the super sub and I agree with signing hand

Play Bryant at 3B this year, have Escobar be a super sub, and McNeil at 2B. Next year move Bryant to OF(Canha is on a 2yr deal, and Nimmo is always hurt).

I'd still throw Gausman $ at Stroman, don't see it happening, but hopefully I'm wrong.

I don’t think Stro comes back.

Scroll down a bit to the ‘what does that mean for Stroman’ bit. Seems like management’s done with dude. Apparently he was extra as hell in Toronto too.

Yeah, I don't want him back. I like his competitive spirit and he is a good pitcher. But he does run his mouth too much. He fukked up a potential offer from the Mets because he can't control his emotions. Let someone else pay him.

In the likelihood that Stro is gone, we still need another good pitcher. Other than Stro, the last good relatively young pitcher on the market is Rondon.

Might be able to work a trade angle. We’ll see. I don’t think uncle Steve’s gonna just sit tight. I think Matz agent lit a fire in his ass.

This is the only thing that matters, everything else is just noise.

14-5, 161 IP, 2.68 ERA, 213 K, 0.944 WHIP, .193 BAA.

Max's numbers against the NY Mets.

We overpaid a lot for a number 2 starter but pitching in a pitching friendly park should help him.
Just like with deGrom, the offense won't give him any run support.
