Because multiple big market teams were guilty, Astros were just made the scapegoats. Loss some draft picks, lost our coach and gm that built this team

He was the one that pioneered using high speed slow motion cinema cameras to show pitchers they needed to change their grips and arm slots, they did an analysis on how for his entire career Verlander was an overhead pitcher and by changing his slot to 3/4 it completely revived and elongated his career. Basically the same makeover for Cole how we took great pitchers with top shelf “stuff” and made them untouchable with tweaks to their mechanics.
