Chiefs are also a 49er's non-meltdown in the 4th quarter away from no Super Bowls in the past three years. Any other team they would have faced in the divisional round during the 2019 season would not have blown a 24-0 lead in the second quarter.

I was responding to someone saying the Chiefs were one play away from being in another Super Bowl. They were also one all-time meltdown from not reaching the Super Bowl, and a 4th quarter collapse from losing in it. All that matters at the end of the day is the end result.

And, no, I don't care if the Patriots are favorites or not. I had no expectations of them being favorites. I'm specifically talking about the Chiefs being as heavy favorites as they are over other AFC teams.

I specifically stated I understand them being favorites, and they deserve to be. I was commenting on the gap in odds between them and other teams such as the Bills, Browns, Ravens, and Titans.

Why wouldnt the gap be wide?? None of those teams have sniffed a SB appearance. Buffalo and Tennessee got handled when they got to the AFC title games vs KC. Why shouldnt there be seperation between them?
