I know it's just pre-season, but I like what I've seen from the Patriots so far.

They have a LOT of HB depth and are going to pound the rock. Mac and Cam both looked good.

Yeah he would’ve been a good fit for Shanny but the fans didn’t want him and I’m not sure the team would’ve have embraced him either.

Most impressive player to me has been Rhamondre Stevenson. Cam didn't have to do him like this though..

Id like to see Mac start for us but think they will ride with Cam until he starts to stink. Mac job to lose for next season though

Personally I think it’s always best to just go with the vet and let them sink or swim than go with the rookie right away. Like these fold are in a rush to get Cam out of here…. Just wait to see what happens man. You don’t have to rush Mac out there to start right away. Dude looks like the future quarterback for the Patriots though.

also they’re gushing over these great throws that Mac is making but being dropped by receivers.. that might be a problem somewhere in the season no matter who the quarterback is

If Belichick deems them equal or near equal, then he will likely go with Cam. The locker room loves him, and it's much easier to pull Cam and then start Mac than it would be to start Mac.....then pull him......and then start him again.

If this is the Mac were gonna be seeing in real games then folks are gonna be furious

Dude is making decisions like he's been playing in this offense the past 10 years. His accuracy in CFB seems to be carrying over into the NFL. I want to see how this all translates against starters and with gameplans.
