Thats an insane deal for a dude that’s bout to turn 33

He only has 20 million left guaranteed over 6 years. He's not gonna be seeing close to 138 mil. They gonna make him restructure to get the rest of the guaranteed money out the way and then probably cut him by year 3.

We've seen this story before.

The Real Titletown

If that's true, it's going to be damn near impossible for a team to trade for him or Watson. Granted, not every front office is the same, but I really only see a handful of a teams that could make an offer for either.

-Dolphins
Jets

-49er's (Only for Watson)

"Three first round picks" might not do it as not every first round pick has the same value, and a team will likely be better immediately with either of those QB's. If the 49er's want Watson, I'm thinking it might take three first round pick plus Ayjuk or Samuel.

I think the Dolphins and the Jets are in the best position. They may be able to offer two first round picks as they are high draft picks, and maybe a player or two. Dolphins could offer Tua, #3, #18, and MAYBE 2022 or 2023 first?

There's some beat reporters floating reports that the deal was done and Pete blocked it at the last second

Looks like unconfirmed accounts though
