Jets should sign Thuney draft Sewell and just destroy teams in the trenches this year. You wouldn’t have to worry about offensive line for at least the next 3-5 years. The tackle spots are locked up for a decade

Jets are very high on Thuney, and were set to throw the bag at him last year before New England surprisingly tagged him.

I've heard the Bengals are the favorites to sign him. They have a need at O-Line, and Thuney is from Cincinnati.

Wouldn't matter.. defenses wouldn't even rush Sam.. they'd just let him throw. :unimpressed:

How's their cap situation? Hopefully they draft Sewell and then forget about the ret of the line :lolbron:

The problem with drafting Sewell is that whoever winds up at RT is the one who will leave the team when they get a chance to because tackles are expensive and the LT always gets paid more than the RT.

and they’d be doing this to give Darnold a cleaner pocket to throw interceptions?

I hope the Jets go all in for Thuney but I expect the Bengals too as well.

There gonna do whatever it takes to protect Burrow after almost getting him killed last year

The chiefs have 2 highly paid tackles

Sam darnold won’t be on the roster this year no matter what

The plan is to sign linemen before the draft to help clear up what's needed. Bengals are going for Thuney for sure. If they can maybe sign another starting caliber OL then they can draft elsewhere.
