All-time offense to defense was pretty impressive through those years however.I remember when they though Elway was one of the best GMs in the league
Not once did I think he was one of the best GMs, just someone who capitalized off of Peyton’s resurgence and allure. I say allure because while Peyton played like shyt in his final year, he was still a draw for a lot of FAs in the prior offseason and them boys on defense played their asses off for him regardless.
Yeah most people said he saw Denver get blasted by Seattle in the bowl and copied the blueprint and turned it around pretty quick to get a bowl 2 years later against carolina. But could never get the QB pick right.All-time offense to defense was pretty impressive through those years however.
