Nothing NE has done has addressed the Allen conundrum

Their weakness was stopping the run and having not passing game. They beefed up the run defense, and if Gilmore and Jackson are both back, I'm confident in what New England can do. Again, I don't like making predictions about the Patriots, but I really like where they are right now.:manny:.

They'll be ready to run the ball down the Bills throat this year. A lot of this really comes down to Cam.

overspending in FA is never a recipe for success

Diggs will be pleased :pachaha:

:pachaha: Lack of weapons wasn't his only problem. Dude was throwing grounders out there. And he's never been particularly accurate. Bills #2 offense bringing everybody back except for Smoke who only played 9 games last year and with the exception of Shaq Lawson we'll have everybody from the defense that finished #2 couple years ago. Star opting out had a bigger impact than people anticipated

These were not huge contracts. And, teams that "overpay" are teams like the Jets and Jaguars. Two teams that were not in contention in recent years outside of one year for the Jaguars.

There is not one signing the Patriots have made this off-season that I believe is a big overpay, especially with the cap going up. If you are limited on talent, you go out and get that talent. A million here and a million there isn't going to kill them with the way you've seen teams be able to deal with the cap.

Well, it would be lock down season with Gilly on him this year. I'm not as big on Jackson as some other Patriots fans are.

We'll see what happens with the Bills offense and if they can duplicate last years success.

@315

As I said though, a lot depends on Cam Newton this season, assuming he's the QB.

Regardless of him not having weapons last year, he looked awful for a lot of the season. The look on his passes was beyond awful. Too many overthrows and throws in the dirt.

Yea his release was looking funny as hell last year. I think we'll bring in another RB. The Bills bringing back all our OL makes me think they that think the problems in the run game was on the running backs. We need a pass rusher but I wouldn't pass up somebody like Etienne or Harris if they're there at #30
