Smart move. I respect how they do things there. Thought they were toast after Luck's retirement, but they basically retooled on the fly and here they are.

Everyone keeps talking about the Chiefs, Browns, Ravens (well, at least some are :mjcry:), and Bills running the AFC, but they better not sleep on this team.

Absolute night and day difference operationally from the previous regime. They’ve been dealt a shyt hand at the QB position since they came in so I give them a pass for that. The 2018 draft class by Ballard was historic and Reich commanding that 10-6 team after the dreadful 1-5 start gained my respect.

All that to be second fiddle to King Henry :mjlol:

Chris Ballard and Frank Reich aren’t bad by any stretch but the media has built them up to be so “underrated” they are overrated. Ballard is .500 since being the GM there 32-32.

In comparison Jon Robinson (Titans GM) is 47-33, more playoff wins, championship game appearances. Inherited a Marcus Mariota led team coming off a 2-14 year yet doesn’t get half the recognition this dude gets. :mjlol:

Drafting Derrick Henry, Jeffery Simmons, Jack Conklin, AJ Brown >>>> Quenton Nelson, Darius Leonard and…????

If Wentz is fukking awful they will be talking about how great these two guys are just bad luck at the QB position as if that isn’t part of the damn job :hhh:

Don’t throw question marks…keep going. :heh: …Braden Smith, Jonathan Taylor, Nyheim Hines…yeah that’s better. I ain’t throwing shade to Robinson cause he’s done a great job as well, but those were two All-Pro rookies drafted in the same class.

Reich and Ballard have had three different starting QBs and two playoff appearances. Who wouldn’t be happy with that in purgatory? 7-9 season coming off the retirement of its own franchise QB? That’s the sign of a well-balanced roster cause it could be way worse.
