2021 NFL Offseason Thread

They’re going to start Cam until he “messes up” so they can go to Mac. I feel like they’re going to Drew Bledsoe to Tom Brady this thing.. I just don’t see them rushing Mac out there so he can possibly fukk up and have the crowd call for Cam.

I take anything those media guys say up there in Boston with a grain of salt. It's obvious what their agenda is. After a week of slandering Cam and proclaiming Mac as QB1 off one good practice, Cam comes in after five days off and has a great practice with the ones while Mac struggled yesterday. Boston media was so sick lol

I mean these are the type of people covering the team up there

Cam needs to hope Mac Jones doesn't light it up tonight.

I still think Cam starts week one as of now, but it's gotten very close.

Mac is the better passer of the 2. If Mac understands the offense just as well and performs well tonight then he has to start week 1. What does Cam have over Mac right now outside of actually playing an NFL game. Dude was ass for vast majority of last season.

Unless they've seen something that Cam really does offer us the better chance at winning then Mac really may start if he performs well tonight.

That’s why I had to stop watching man… these fools takes change with the wind smh. I still think they want Mac to “save the day”

I've been paying attention since training camp started and it's really funny to see the bias and narratives being formed in real time.

Cam has gotten the overwhelming majority of work with the ones while Mac has had spot instances while mostly being with the twos and threes. He had three practices as the man with Cam out and was good in one of them which was all it took for those guys up there to crown him. Then Cam comes back and he immediately struggles again

A lot of people gonna be shocked seeing Cam out there Week 1 when they shouldn't be. This "competition" has been almost completely media driven

I’m trying not to get too excited but he’s been playing really well for the time he has been able to play. Buckner was looking kinda lonely on that line last season and the pass rush needed to be addressed badly. Love Kwity’s burst off the edge, it’s immediately noticeable.

……this secondary though. Just putrid. I have no faith in Ya-Sin to step up his game.
