Somebody explain the NFL COVID rules to me. So players are going to have to sit out games if they test positive even if them and their team are fully vaccinated?

Had Martin been vaccinated he could've been back by Tuesday at the earliest. Vaccinated players only need 2 negative tests 24 hours apart to return.

He's already declared out which means he’s subject to the mandatory 10 day quarantine for unvaccinated players that test positive.

Martin is vaccinated, the reason he's out is because the protocols are five days for vaccinated players and the game is on Thursday rather than Sunday
