Either way win or lose shyt is about to change for Team USA. The player's reps are at stake. There's not going to be any more willy-nilly hop aboard Team USA for a quick and easy gold medal and a vacation to a foreign country. Now the stars are going to want to know who's joining them, who's the role players, who's the guy that's going to cover them on defense, do we have a pass first point guard, what's the offense being ran and who's the coach, etc. These dudes already sensitive as hell during the regular season so this added pressure and scrutiny for the gold is going to get tossed in the bushes quick fast. After Tokyo the superstars will vet and put the whole entire process under a microscope.. they have to because after one loss everybody is questioning their entire playing career all the way from High School and AAU to if they actually work on their game as a pro. It might even have to come back to playing all college players.
this is incredible. Literally a man among boys but these are grown men professional bball players some of played in the NBA or still do and Luka is making them look like high schoolers.
