I remember reading top 10 center lists that included Kendrick Perkins in it at that time. And he was still criticized for having no post game. And could be contained 1 on 1 by Perk and other big physical post defenders. You can’t have watched basketball very long with a take like that lol

Stockton was the back up point. A first ballot HOFer who leads in all time assists and steals coming off the bench. Meanwhile the ‘12 team had a menacing second unit with Iggy, Kevin Love, and D-Will coming off the bench with Tyson Chandler starting. Looking forward to their inductions lmao

Magic was 32 and one year removed from averaging 19/13/7 on 62% TS and leading a team to the Finals. Bird and Laettener didn’t get off the bench.

Mullin is a HOFer. Stockton is a first ballot HOFer and the all time leader in two of the five major statistical categories.
